Supplementary descriptions of seven eriophyoid mite species (Acari: Eriophyoidea) recovered from the Viennese Nalepa collection and comparison with Japanese species

The reason for this study was to compare the morphology of mites from three Japanese samples with topotypes Nalepa collection, in order correctly identify them. With purpose eriophyoid specimens were recovered five vials mite collection Natural History Museum Vienna. We identified seven species and a new combination is established one them - Aceria thomasi Aculops thymi, two labeled Thymus serpyllum (Lamiaceae); Eriophyes spiraeae vial Spiraea crenifolia (Rosaceae); Peralox longirostris n. comb., Shevtchenkella ulmi, filiformis Aculus mastigophorus Ulmus campestris (Ulmaceae). A supplementary description presented these species. collected ‘Shiso’, Perilla frutescens var. crispa (Lamiaceae), thunbergia (Rosaceae) Juglans mandshurica (Juglandaceae). ‘Shiso’ as A. but other did not match topotypes. These may be require further taxonomic studies.
